So guys we made it! Last day of the challenge.

Today we are going to reflect on how far we have come and make a real solid plan for future goals. Over the last 30 days we have dabbled in all sorts of areas which can improve our businesses so now we will make solid plans and goals and stick to them to keep our stores growing and improving.

Today I am challenging you to invest in yourself. Your store is a business and the best way to really make your store professional is to see it as one.

The most important way to invest in your business is to become a premium seller. You will make the money back. I was unsure at first but it really is worth it.

Another way to improve your store is to invest in good quality clipart and fonts. There are some very talented people on TPT and their work can lift your products above basic status.

So today I challenge you to invest in your store even if it is only in a small way invest now. Not only does this improve your store it also will help your mind set. Putting money into your business will make you think about it in a more professional way.

Twitter is one of those platforms where you need to be active and interesting to get followers. No body wants to be sold to all the time and this is particularly true on social media. Your followers need to trust you and find you useful to promote your brand.

Today's challenge is to do with Google alerts. This is a great way to keep track of your business and make sure that people aren't offering your products for free (which can happen now and then).

If you have a very unique name it is a really good idea to keep an eye on when you are mentioned anywhere on the internet. Find out how to do this here.

If you do not have a name that is unique and will be mentioned a lot (for example if you are called something like fun resources) then you need to think up another 'secret' name for tracking. Think up a good phrase and hide it somewhere in your products. Choose something like 'Don't touch ginger's resources I have an alert' then set up an alert for this phrase.

Keeping track of your business is always a good idea.

So today is day 25, and today we are going to pay it forward. This is the day to really do something nice for someone else. Today we pay it forward.

The community on TPT is fantastic and so helpful. Today I am challenging you to be part of that. Do something nice for another seller. What you decide to do is up to you but here are some ideas to get you going:

Join in a tips thread on the forum and leave your best tips

Message another seller to tell them how lovely their store is

Give a teacher a free lesson plan, just because its a nice thing to do

Send someone a lovely email to remind them it is a nice world

Recommend another seller's account on one of your social media platforms

Do something else that pays it forward.

It is always good to remember that helping others, helps ourselves.

Ad pages are great for several reasons, you can let buyers know about great products they might also like and it is a good way to build your brand. We visited Pinterest boards already and today for our challenge we are heading back over to Pinterest to tidy up our boards!

The first three boards on your Pinterest account are where you should put your most important and profitable boards. Lots of people will not scroll all the way down your boards so put the boards you want visited the most right at the top.

Also your boards need to be tidied up! Delete any pins which shouldn't be there, give your boards great, relevant names and make sure all pins in that board are relevant to that name!

Half way through! Welcome fellow challengers, I am feeling playful today it is hump day but I am feeling pretty good.

Today you are challenged to fix up your Facebook business page. If you don't have one for your store, today is the day to set one up. If you have one, take a good look at it and see the areas you could improve; are your store details up to date? Have you included a great cover photo which shows your store personality? Are you using your page's call to action button?

While over at Facebook you can also have a little search for interesting groups to join, I have found so much great advice and connections from my Facebook groups and would always encourage people to join.

Well here we are, two weeks in to our challenge! It has gone so fast!

Today we are going to talk about automation. I know we are all really busy and anything which can save a bit of time is always appreciated.

Today I am challenging you to find a way to automate a part of your business. There are many, many ways to do this, too many to list here, however one great way to save time is using a great app called IFTT (If This Then That) I use this app every day to make my social media posts quick and stream lined. It works by linking all of your accounts together. As an example, when I post this blog post, my IFTTT account will pick up that a new post is on my blog and automatically post a link to it on my Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other sites. When I put Instagram pictures up they are pushed through to my Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. It is so quick and easy it saves me so much promoting time.

Your challenge is to find a way to automate it doesn't have to be IFTTT this is just the one I love :)

(I have nothing to do with this company BTW I just really think it is great!)

Well I hope we are all having a great weekend. Even though it is Sunday doesn't mean you can stop! Today's challenge is to do with your conversion rate and your prices.

Pricing is always a tricky subject on TPT some people use complicated formulas (there is a great free one here) and some people (like me) just kinda guess... I tend to look at a product and try to pretend, if I had never seen it before, how much would I be willing to pay? This isn't the best strategy but it works for me to an extent.

Anyway today our challenge is to have a look at our conversion rates and figure if our products are pitched at the right price. Generally it is expected products will have a conversion rate of between 2-3% this means for every 100 people who look at your product 2 or 3 people purchase it.

If your rate is lower than this you might what to try and work out why, is there a preview? Is your product title or description not quite right? Or is it too expensive?

If your rate is too high it could mean you aren't charging enough. Don't undervalue your work. I'm not saying bump up your prices like crazy but a small increase (.50) and keep an eye on it see how it performs.

So yes today you are going to take a good hard look at your process and conversion rates.

Today your challenge is to do with making your store look more professional and interesting to buyers, this will encourage repeat buyers and hopefully translate to more sales.

So with that in mind today your challenge is to improve (or create) a banner for your store. They are pretty straight forward to make and can actually be a lot of fun!

You can link your banner up to other areas of your store or even your blog, although I have been told this isn't the greatest idea; as ideally you want people to stick around your store not wander off and get lost in your fantastic blog.... But I guess there is merit in both.

Well here we are, we made it into the double digits!

Today's challenge is something I really need to work on and it is a biggie! I am terrible for making previews of my products, I just never seem to get around to it. I know I should make them at the same time as listing them but there just never seems to be a good moment and before I know it I have over 100 products that just don't have previews.

So today I am challenging us to make a fantastic preview for one of our products. Your preview can be a sample page or some pictures of your product in action or if you are feeling adventurous maybe a gif slideshow of your pages? However you decide to do it, get to those previews people!

Ok day nine! How are you all doing? Keeping up? Feeling motivated?

I know (or I hope!) we all proof read our products before posting them but there is nothing like coming at a product with fresh eyes. Today your challenge is to go back to a product you haven't touched in a while, it might be your first product produced or maybe the product you haven't ever revamped. Which ever product you choose, today you are going to proof read it again.

The reason I suggest a product you haven't looked at in a while is because this gives you a chance to notice any mistakes which seem to disappear when we know a product really well.

So today, go proof those products and make them as error free as possible. I wish you luck, health and happiness (I sound like a fortune cookie!)

Well who is still with us? We made it through the first week, who is still here and toughing it out?

Today we are going to make some 'in action photos' This means is you are still in the classroom today is the day to get a picture of your lovely kids using a product and then upload it as part (or all of) your previews. If you are on holiday already (you lucky thing!) Then print it off and take a picture to really show off your product. Real pictures of products are so much better than cover pages for showing off how great they look in real life and they can be a real selling point.

So here we are a whole week into our challenge! Are you feeling motivated?

Today we are going to improve our custom categories in our stores. If you aren't sure how to create custom categories there is a great blog post on Just a Thought or Two which explains really well how to get started.

If you already have a handle on your categories todays challenge is to improve them, make sure they are specific to help your buyers find the things they are looking for, make sure everything is in the correct categories and if there is one or two that you really want your buyers to notice first thing consider adding a small star to the category name (*). As categories are listed in alphabetical order adding the asterisk will bump these categories up to the top of the list.

So today get on with those custom categories and make them fabulous!

Today we are going to talk about feedback. Feedback is so important to us as sellers, we want it from our customers and we want it to be good. Feedback is also a really good way to build relationships with your customers.

Your challenge today is to deal with your feedback backlog. Go through your store and respond to any feedback you have received that you haven't yet replied to. If you are super organised and up to date with your feedback responses, you don't get to sit back and laugh at the rest of us because you also need to go through all of your purchases and free downloads and leave the seller some nice feedback.

Maybe you are really good at leaving feedback too? Well in that case I have one last part of the challenge for you. Go through your products with feedback and mark the best feedback as helpful, this will raise it to the top of the listing and be the first feedback buyers will see.

Day Five!

Today we are going to talk about cover pages on products. Covers are really useful for attracting buyers to your products.

If you don't have a cover page on your products then you need to get on that now! The 3AM Teacher has great advice on how to create cover pages here.

However, if you already have covers on your products, today your challenge is to update your worst cover page. Consistency is the key to making your TPT store look professional, choose a style you like and you feel works for your store, then use this for all your covers.

Welcome back to day four of the challenge. Today we are going to be working on your Instagram. Now I personally love Instagram, it is so much more fun than Facebook, where people seem to moan a LOT! Instagram seems to be much nicer and more engaging than Facebook. Instagram also gives your customers a chance to see the personal side of you and your business. So if you haven't got an Instagram account go get one right now go, shooo get over there and do it! (but come back here for the challenge!)

So this challenge has 3 parts, the first part is for you to take a picture of something you feel really represents you, as a seller, it might be a very strong cup of coffee, it might be your children because they are your future, it could be your insanely messy desk. What ever it is take a little bit of time and post this picture. You can use the hashtags: #mysellerself #bigsellerchallenge

I cannot wait to see some of your pictures. Please link up the pictures below or leave your Instagram in the comments and I will go check them all out. (I really do have a bit of an Insta-holic problem!)

Ok now the second part of this challenge is to go have a look at your bio on Instagram and make sure it is really easy for customers to get from your account to your TPT store. It is hugely off-putting to see a great Insta post on a product and then not be able to actually find it. So keep that bio updated and working.

And the last part of your challenge: Instagram one of your favourite products. You can post the cover page, a thumb nail or a picture of the product in action, what ever you choose to do make it something you are proud of! Again use the hashtag #bigsellerchallenge and another hashtag related to the product you have posted.

I hope we are all starting to hit our stride now. Today we are going to do some serious collaboration. Today is the day you make a new TPT friend and you make a plan to do something with them.

The best sellers all swear by collaboration, we are so much stronger when we work together. So today choose one (or more) of the ways below and collaborate with someone!

Some collaboration ideas:

• Go to the feedback forum and offer feedback to someone, take time and care when giving feedback and do it without expecting anything in return (we are making friends remember)

• Find another seller on Facebook and send them a message offering to give constructive feedback on their page and ask if they would do the same for you

• Go to the forums and find someone looking for help creating a collaborative product, offer to help if you can

• Go to the forums and create a post asking people to help you in creating your next product (Spell check, make it accessible to other grades, test it on their class)

• Create a social media post on your favourite media telling people how great TPT is and why they should try it out

• Have a look at a new seller's store and leave them some nice comments and constructive feedback that could help them

• Find a blog you really enjoy and leave a comment telling the author how much you liked their posts

• Follow some new teachers on Instagram and leave interesting comments on their pictures, search using #teachersofinstagram or #teachersfollowteachers

• Find your own way to reach out and connect with someone

I hope that yesterday warmed us all up and got the ball rolling. Today is the day we improve descriptions!

Take a look at your store a really good look and make sure all your descriptions are the best they can possibly be.

Do they have links to other products?
Do they look professional and stylish?
Do they tell the customer enough information about your product?
Do you list everything that is included in your download?
Have you included instructions to help buyers follow you (and thus become repeat buyers)?
Have you used bold words to draw the buyers attention to important details?
Have you given the buyer some idea about how to use your product?
Have you included key words?
Does your product have a descriptive title?

If the answer to any of these, on any of your products, is no, then it is time to get going! Sort those descriptions my friend!

There is some wonderful advice on writing descriptions in this free product by Core Inspiration as well as several posts in the forum on key words and what makes a good title. If you are still a little stuck on how to do any of this, please do comment below and I will be happy to help.

So today I am challenging you to pick at least one of your products and improve the description. Come on you can do it!

I'm going to start you off easy. For the first day of the challenge we are going to start with worst seller day! Go to your store organise your products by best seller and then head over to the last page of products. Click on the last product in the list, this is your worst seller and today we are going to promote the life out of it!

Firstly pin it on every board you have going  on Pinterest. If you don't have a Pinterest account, today is the day to DO IT!!! Pinterest is by far the best place to promote your store and your products so come on people get pinning today! Ignore that silly warning sign that tells you, you have already saved this pin, yes! I know!

Pin and pin and pin some more today is the day to pin your worst seller. Go over to the forums and join one of those pinning parties, add the link of your worst seller and pin, pin, pin.
